Portrait sessions begin at $250, with expanded collections at $425 and $650. Wedding collections begin at $1,500. See the Investment page for what each collection includes. Travel, permits, add-ons, and custom coverage may affect the final proposal. Submitting an inquiry does not book a session or create a payment obligation.

Your date is secured after your photography agreement is signed and the required non-refundable retainer is paid. Unless your proposal says otherwise, the retainer is 50% and the remaining balance is due 14 days before the session or event.

Your edited photographs are typically delivered within four weeks. If your project has a different timeline, it will be listed in your proposal or agreement.

Please reach out as soon as possible. Your agreement includes the rescheduling terms that apply to your booking. In general, one complimentary reschedule may be used within 12 months, subject to availability; additional changes may carry a fee. Weather decisions are made with safety and the final photographs in mind.

No. The editing is part of the finished work, so your gallery includes only the photographs Stephen selects and edits in the SMH Photography style.

SMH Photography is based in Gainesville and serves North Georgia and beyond. Stephen will help choose a location that fits your people, your vision, the light, accessibility needs, and any permit requirements. Travel fees may apply outside the usual service area.

Absolutely. Aim for colors and textures that coordinate without making everyone match exactly. Avoid large logos and very busy patterns when possible. Existing clients can use the preparation guide and email outfit photos or questions before the session.

You’ll receive a private online Pixieset gallery with your finished edited photographs and download instructions. When your gallery is ready, use the password and link provided in your delivery email. Client galleries and the public portfolio are separate.

Existing clients can reach the secure Square payment page from Client Resources. Only submit the amount Stephen provided in your proposal, invoice, or email. A payment by itself does not reserve a date without a signed agreement.
