Recap on the First 15768017.3 Seconds

Hello Everyone!!

So we have made it to the First 6 months and to be honest, it has been a whirlwind of emotions! Busy months…Dead months, thinking that I have made huge steps forward and getting to a shoot and thinking I’m in over my head. However i wouldn’t change a thing. What has made this journey so exciting is the freedom of my work. I have been really wanting to focus on doing more commercial photography, however family portraits and events have been keeping me busy. What I have learned the most about these shoots is be flexible, creative, and making sure my personality comes through with my interaction with my subjects. I have also found myself falling in love with Street Photography. I recently went on a stroll in Atlanta from Piedmont Park to Little 5 Points and was able to capture families & friends enjoying a beautiful afternoon to becoming immersed in the sounds of Wayne McDowell that turned into a concert! I am rambling now but my point is:

  1. Starting a Photography Business is Fun, even in the low points, don’t get discouraged!

  2. Shoot Everything: FIND YOUR STYLE you will learn so much from expanding what you think is possible

  3. Trust your friends and family words of encouragement and criticisms, but always trust your gut!

  4. Never Stop Learning
